Peregrine helps stakeholder groups and policymakers merge diverse viewpoints into consensus recommendations.
- For the RI Office of Energy Resources, Peregrine facilitated the Off-Shore Wind Stakeholders Group, a 40-member group of municipal, environmental, and business stakeholders appointed by Governor Carcieri to develop recommendations regarding the siting of an offshore wind farm. Peregrine facilitated the group’s meetings, provided background information and analysis, and drafted the group’s final report.
- Peregrine chaired the Save Energy Coalition, a group of environmental, business, and utility stakeholders that developed recommendations for legislation to reform energy efficiency policy and programs in Massachusetts. The Coalition’s recommendations became the blueprint for the Green Communities Act, sweeping energy reform legislation enacted in 2008.
- For the RI Office of Energy Resources, Peregrine facilitated the On-Site Distributed Generation Stakeholders Group, a 20-member group of environmental, businesses, and municipal stakeholders. Peregrine facilitated the group’s meetings, provided background information and analysis, and drafted the group’s report to the RI Legislature.
