Peregrine works on behalf of municipal governments to develop Energy Management and Conservation Plans with input from local officials, energy commissions, and community leaders; analyzes current energy usage for municipal and school buildings; identifies and prioritizes projects that will result in energy savings and improvements; implements projects to achieve those savings and verifies the anticipated savings over time.

• For Cambridge, Massachusetts, Peregrine provides Energy benchmarking and utility bill management.
• For Providence, Rhode Island, Peregrine is gathering and analyzing utility information for all City buildings and other end uses (e.g. street lighting), benchmarking performance, and identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and renewable development, optimizing the use of utility services and resources.
• For Lincoln, Massachusetts, Peregrine performed Energy benchmarking, developed a strategic energy plan for the town library, public schools and Community Farm; developed efficiency guidelines for new construction approved by Town Meeting; and facilitated green technology committee appointed by Selectmen.
• For Lawrence, Massachusetts, Peregrine performed Energy auditing and benchmarking on behalf of the Lawrence Housing Authority
• For Belmont, Massachusetts, Peregrine performed Energy benchmarking and provided technical assistance for energy performance contracting.
• For Newton, Massachusetts, Peregrine performed Energy benchmarking and provided technical support for utility bill management.
