Energy Information
We are expert in working with large quantities of utility data – creating guidance and understanding out of a mountain of detail.
- Peregrine is helping the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to calculate the state’s greenhouse gas inventory and track progress toward its emission reduction goals. Peregrine is reporting energy use information for over 90 state agencies and is collecting data for over 5,000 utility accounts from 40 separate utility providers.
- For the Cambridge Energy Alliance, a non-profit organization running a city-wide energy efficiency program, Peregrine is collecting electricity, gas and water usage data for every customer in Cambridge, MA. Peregrine is analyzing usage data to identify targets for energy efficiency services, providing baseline reports to inform energy efficiency audits, monitoring the performance of energy efficiency projects, and reporting overall energy use, savings, and emissions.
- For the Boston Housing Authority, Peregrine is collecting and reporting energy use and cost information for all of the Authority’s 66 properties and 12,000 units. The data collected and reported by Peregrine was used to establish a baseline for a multi-million dollar performance contract. Going forward, the data will be used to monitor the results of energy efficiency improvements and to identify additional energy efficiency opportunities.
